"We’re Alive is a modern rendition of an old-school medium. Maintaining a style that is both retro and contemporary, the radio drama will give horror fans the campy, kitschy style they like, but it also provides a variety of characters and development to keep general audiences engaged.… Despite not being able to see the action, the excitement and intensity is still sustained through score and sound design. In some ways, the lack of visuals to accompany the audio creates more suspense. The narrator controls how much the audience knows, slowly teasing out information. Accompanying the drama are sparse moments of comedic relief.… Expressing a keen awareness of the zombie subgenre, many of the jokes come from familiar scenarios and tropes of zombie stories." I am enjoying the series although some of the female characters have been written as whiners.

Ace from start to finish just about to do the last season don't want it to end

Seasons one and two were amazing, season three is even better, with newer zombies and old threats returning, this is the best season so far, if you've not listened to any of them before, do yourself a favour and get the first two seasons now, you won't be disappointed, with a full vocal cast its a throw back to the days of the old style radio plays, like war of the worlds.

Cannot sing the praises of this series enough. Can't stop listening to it and am now on the 5th or 6th playthrough of the entire series.

with the group split us this season there's better development for them all but lizi is still the same whingebag but I've a sneaky suspicious they're gonna get rid of her for dramatic effect now .

Saying it’s a zombie book is a bit wrong… but it’s still worth a listen.
Only negative are the females,Hope , lizzy and pegs who are the most whiny characters and so far , with 3 hours to go, are still alive 🙄

I have listened to this audiobook serie for the third time , and it still hold so strong. Its just the best out there. The voice acting the story everything is perfect!
