About this listen

From the world of Push and Pull comes a new unexpected forbidden romance…

My name is Tate Eckhart, and I love my life. I have a great job, a sick wardrobe, drive a fancy car, and sip scotch old enough to be my Daddy.

I’m fine with being known as the bad guy, the troublemaker, and the unattached harlot out of all my friends. Hey, if the Burberry loafer fits, right?

Money, control… lust, no strings attached. It’s how I’ve been living since that one night, back in college when I stepped over a line with one of my closest friends, only to discover the truth.

Love is for suckers.

Who cares if he’s abnormally beautiful and built like a Norse god? He ran out of my life after an incident that was very ungodly.

But that’s all in the past… Or at least, it was.

Bumping into each other in the most unexpected of places has to be a coincidence, a humorous joke from the big guy upstairs. Because my old pal is now a pastor. And he’s married… to a woman.

Doesn’t matter. I don’t have time for relationships, feelings, or thinking about what could have been.

But when we’re alone, it seems like neither of us can practice what we preach. And what we do in secret feels damningly good.

Keeping it going is asking for trouble…

But I suppose if I’m already on my knees, I might as well beg for forgiveness.

Trouble is a second-chance MM romance. It is a standalone spin-off from the world of Push and Pull.

Ok, first of all the emotional rollercoaster... form the middle of the book I was going on and on about all the things thats going in to my friends and significant other, oh the ranting...
Later on even bigger twist that I had to go and spoil it to myself, just to have a clear head and look at things a bit different only because I was on egde.
Still hate Lance tho, even if the ending was heartwarming and sweet, he didn't do enough to at least look better.

Ahhhhh

Id give this a 9/10. There was a taboo twist I wasnt expecting and honestly I found very uncomfy. A CW regarding the specific issue would have helped me adapt I think.
I think this is by far the authors funniest book. Tate was so fucking funny.

So funny

I started to read this along time ago, but got side tracked . Listening to it and re-reading it was great, the narrators did a great job. As the author does so well, there were moments that were uncomfortable - moments of sheer shock but most of all, moments of pure joy, love and passion. Thanks again Nyla for another fantastic book x

Fantastic book and performance

"You've always been my trouble, Lance, but you're also my salvation." 💙

I knew I was in for an emotional rollercoaster with this book, and let me tell you, it delivered. I've seen some rather harsh critiques online, and honestly, I just don't get it. For me, this book was the perfect culmination of Tate and Lance’s tumultuous journey, a poignant exploration of their complex relationship that finally brought them the resolution they deserved.

This book delves deep into Tate's psyche, revealing the layers of pain and vulnerability beneath his often impenetrable exterior and Nyla K. finally provides the much-needed context for Tate’s actions in the previous books. To witness his walls slowly crumble, to see him confront his past and embrace his future with Lance, was nothing short of cathartic. It felt like watching a tightly wound spring finally release, and the emotional payoff was immense. Lance, in turn, proved to be the steadfast anchor Tate needed. His patience, unwavering love, and genuine understanding shone through every page. He saw beyond Tate's defences, recognising the wounded soul beneath, and offered him a safe haven. It wasn’t just about the romantic aspect; it was about two individuals finding themselves and each other amidst the chaos of their lives.

In conclusion, Trouble by Nyla K. is a powerful and moving conclusion to Tate and Lance’s story. It’s a testament to the enduring power of love, forgiveness, and second chances. It's a story that proves that even in the midst of trouble, love can truly conquer all.

Even in the midst of trouble, love can truly conquer all!

Everything about this is perfect, the voice actors do an absolute amazing job. Actually can't wait to do a relisten.

All the emotions.

I read Push last year and absolutely loved navigating Ben and Ryan's story. It has spice (alot!), emotion, angst and HEA which is why it's it one of my favourites and I recommend it to EVERYONE!

However, I just couldn't get over Ben's voice on the audio version. I found it cringe, unemotional and mechanical compared to Ryan who I absolutely loved listening to.

Love is Love!!!
