This was so freaking cute and hysterical! I want to be Brad’s friend IRL!

So far this year I feel like I’ve been reading books that just left me wanting more in many ways- they either didn’t have a epilogue, never featured the main couple actually together on page as a couple until the final 5%, or simply didn’t ever have any meaningful dialogue between the MMCs.

But thank goodness this book has finally arrived on audio for a relisten, because it has delivered the remedy to all of these things, and provided what I love most in a romcom book: two MCs who deliver as much banter as they do heartfelt moments with each other, alongside a very satisfying love declaration & epilogue.

Brad is a smart & confident 25 year old games developer who is looking for a new friend to fill the gap left behind by his bff Jason getting together with Cas, and moving out (read Himbo if you haven’t already!). One day at the gym, Joey comes up to him and they spark up a conversation that feels as easy as breathing. Brad’s entire demeanor & outlook on life was so joyful. He was going to be exactly himself no matter what, and I loved that. And Joey was the perfect person to support Brad in all his zany endeavors.

Omg i don’t think i have laughed so much for ages . Brad is so ridiculously oblivious to his surroundings it’s hilarious and the things he comes out with that had Joey stuttering because everything came across a come on.
When Brad says he’s going to be the best wingman ever and find Joey his happily ever after , Joey has to go through with it even though he knows he’s in love with sweet ridiculous oblivious Brad .
