About this listen

The floodwaters have receded, and the war is over. A ruler has fallen. The Wind Runner lives, missing yet not forgotten.

The world is changing, growing larger. After the horrors of war and the loss of spring comes the renewal of summer, a chance for a new beginning.

Ryoka Griffin has reappeared in Izril's north. The Quarass is dead, yet the King of Destruction's war continues. In the jungles of Baleros, Geneva and her friends fall under the shadow of the Titan of Baleros. Amidst it all, Erin Solstice grieves for the dead and pulls her family close. Yet there is always a door leading her onwards to a magical future...

Unbelievably another Great Book.

As usual more excellence from Pirateaba and wonderful performances by Andrea Parseneau. This book spent more time away from the Inn than I would have liked but that only meant we got to catch up with the other inhabitants of the world (& meet some new ). I am now as always awaiting the next instalment with quivering anticipation.

original, attention gripping great story

I don't even know where to start! I haven't been so hooked in years, usually I get bored after book 2. The story is just so different from all I read in the past, and yet the characters are relatable, well built and grow through the books. Plus I don't know how Andrea Parsneau does it, but she sounds as if a bunch of actors were reading it! No idea how she can keep up with all different voices, accents, personalities... She's a genius 👏 I admit I was a bit annoyed at first by Erin's cheery voice, but I got used to that ;) I recommend it to everyone!

Another Wonderful Book

I'll keep saying it, this is my favourite book series. Nobody can hold a candle to Pirate Aba or Andrea Parsneau in my opinion. A match made in heaven!

i thought wondering inn was a detective book 🤣

best mistake I ever made. I was looking for a book to keep me company on a 9 hr journey. and now many other journeys later. And here I am just Finnished with book 10. I never enjoyed a series so much. I'll be lost what to listen to once iv got through this series. maybe have to check other fantasy books. But I really hope this author keeps on with this series. The character growth with the goblins has been outstanding.

"Wind runner." contains not alot of wind running

This entire book feels like a filler between to other books. these chapters should have been included in "Tears of Liscor" and "Titan of Belaros" alone they have no payoff.
having only 2-3 Ryoka chapthers and calling the book the wind Ryoka is non logical, i kept waiting to get back to her but i didnt happend. jumping between Belaros and Chandra was a bit to much in this time around.

The voice acting is again top tier. and the overall story of this series is still one of my favourites in fantasty.

A drake, a selfid and a human walk into an inn...

The Wind Runner by #pirateaba published by @PodiumAudio. The world-building of this series has expanded exponentially over the course of the 10 books. The author's inspiration and flair for creativity knows no bounds - the best author I've read in the #litRPG genre to date.

The only competition for #pirateaba's #litRPG crown is the author #Shirtaloon and his series #HeWhoFightswithMonsters. But Pirateaba has a trick up his sleeve as he has another book in the wandering inn series. As for the novel, I am starting to find it all less believable.

There are still the familiar characters that we know and love from #ErinSolstice to the amazing runner girl Ryoka Griffin -- the mainstay for this incredibly well written series. Unfortunately due to the enormous influx of new characters, I have to deduct 1 star from this rating.

In this book, a large number of characters were introduced, from the Last light to the pacifist martial artist who constantly develops his skills. I found this new and large group of characters difficult to relate to. The story also felt watered-down compared to other works.

However, the narrator of this book @MouthyMaven ❤️❤️❤️ was incredible. She did her usual amazing work in creating a distinct set of character voices that really carried the piece. 📚 4/5⭐️ #bookreview

Went nowhere

A little disappointed.

Good but did nothing…

Seemed like a filler book , preparing for the next one.
