I really enjoyed the history of this story and how the characters evolved throughout the past and present. I loved the narration and appreciated the authentic accents of the different characters.

A lovely uplifting story

Not quite immersive as the Reading List, but time may tell, I wonder if it will be Mukish or Alma, that return to me over and over, as the book leaves it’s imprint on me and my soul. Sara Nisha Adams, just brings her characters to life in daily situations, you feel their pain, love, hope and strength.

Simple and beautiful

Absolutely love Sara Nisha Adams. Her style is so easy to fall in line with. This story was full of highs and lows and you really feel the anguish that the characters are experiencing, as well as their joy!

I smiled all the way through!

A lovely story of community and friendship. Brilliant narration by all 3 narrators, really brought the characters to life. The only down side was the male narrator’s mispronunciation of the words “Bind weed” daft I know but every time he said it wrong I winced. The other narrators got it right.
