About this listen
It's official: my step bro is the biggest himbo ever to himbo.
He's a massive blond beefcake with a soft heart and an over-eager smile. The mere sight of him incites a shaking hot rage in me.
He's everywhere. He's around me all the time. So sweet and gentle that it makes me feel wild. I see him and smell him everywhere. When I can't see him or smell him, I hear him. The wall between our bedrooms is paper thin. I can't help it—I hear what he does in his room when he thinks he's alone. I hear everything.
I know I shouldn't do it. It's obviously a terrible, terrible idea. Still, I bide my time. I wait, and I wait, and finally, I pounce.
"Luke! I know what you're doing in there."

Grumpy sunshine love it
This grumpy sunshine mm romance was great. Normally I’m in line with the sunshine but not this time it was cringe and annoying but cute at the same time!
You could feel the love and lust and want from Luke the family dynamic is sickly sweet.
Jesse was all kinds of confused from his relationship with his mum and what he thought of his dad I’m glad he managed to reconcile both of these relationships by the end.
How in sync they are both together is cute how they push each others boundaries is adorable!

Stepbrother Romance
When Jessie comes to live with his Dad and his step family he could have never guessed he would find love in his stepbrother Luke. I read this book when it released and really enjoyed it but the audiobook was perfect it brought the characters to life .

The development of the relationship was great, the writing seemed to get better as the book progressed and the narration was fantastic. Fabulous ending ❤️

It was just ok for me but I don't think I was the intended audience
I didn't love this book.
Jesse said he'd identify as a cat of he was an animal and I think that's about right. He was selfish and self interested. Frankly, he's a bit of a downer who thinks he's better than everyone. Luke is happy, almost militantly cheerful. It didn't work for me. I wanted to scream "grow up" (that's said, they are on their late teens).
I gave up during the first steamy scene because I honestly didn't understand how it went from one character pining and the other being a miserable ahole, to let me tell you how to get off through a closed door.
I'm in my late thirties and honestly, I think this book is intended for people a few years younger than me.
It's not badly written, she described the characters perfectly, and there'll be loads of people who love Jesse, I just couldn't connect.
