Excellent methods on better sleeping

I thoroughly enjoyed all the strategies that were defined to better help people get to sleep. There were so many "eye-opening" methods (pun intended) that I was not aware of, that will aid with reducing insomnia. Research was well done and the narrator was a great fit for this type of audiobook.

Useful and compassionate

Very Helpful

It's totally worth a shot! I used to struggle with insomnia, but these tips really helped me out. Making my room feel more chill made bedtime something I actually looked forward to. I didn’t realize how much late-night screen time was messing up my sleep until I started tracking it. Now, I fall asleep quicker and wake up feeling refreshed for once!

Finally Getting Some Real Sleep!

So helpful!

There lots of great tips in this book that I can't wait to try! I especially can't wait to try the tips on how to fall back asleep once you wake up in the middle of the night. I like that this book touches on your life style because I know that is affecting my sleep. I highly recommend reading this if you have trouble sleeping!

I never realised there was so much to "insomnia"

Ironically, I listened to a lot of this book at 0300hrs in the morning, when I was not able to sleep, (just like stated on the audiobook description as "Are you wide awake at 3 AM, desperately yearning for sleep?"
I always thought insomnia was me "just not able to sleep because I have a lot going on in my life and in my head".
How wrong I was, and how shallow an interpretation that was.
It is sort of true, but this audiobook helped me (enormously) get deeper, and ask the question "OK...but WHY don't you sleep?".
I learned about how to get relaxed before bed.
I learned how to treat bed as a place of sleep, (a "sleep sanctuary"), and reduce other possible distractions.
I learned about "sleep chemistry".
I learned about how to adjust various aspects of my life to ensure the maximum chance of successful and resting sleep.
I learned so much more.
This is an eye-opening book (excuse the pun), brilliantly structured, and expertly executed.
PS - last night was the best night of sleep that I have had for many, many months. That's the best testament to this book that I can offer.
