I was really looking forward to this new book, but sadly it was an utter let down. A really annoying lead character and a potentially atmospheric story wrecked by lack of imagination to take it to a good conclusion. I felt like the author tried to finish it too quickly without thinking through where it was going, can’t recommend this book, at all!

Very predictable and the ending was very abrupt. I love haunted house books but this one didn't give me the chills at all. Don't do what I did and waste a credit on this. Wish I'd stuck to Stephen King...

It was creepy at times but so so good.
