A great resource
This audible resonated with me on a profound level, touching the very core of the struggles I've witnessed among friends lost to the clutches of alcohol. Sean Alexander's narrative is informative and a beacon of hope for those navigating the challenging path to sobriety.
From the opening pages, the author digs into the harsh realities of the damage alcohol inflicts on the body, mind, and soul. What sets this book apart is its unwavering focus on the immense possibilities that open up when one embraces a sober lifestyle. Alexander's writing is clear, direct, and impactful, making the facts about alcohol's consequences blunt and unequivocal.
Beyond the specifics of alcohol-related challenges, this book transcends its subject matter. It offers insights and knowledge applicable to various aspects of life, making it a valuable resource for anyone seeking positive change. The emphasis on what can be achieved while sober is empowering and instills a sense of optimism for those grappling with the shadows of alcohol.
The 31-day guided sobriety journal, "The Challenge," is a masterfully crafted companion, providing a structured and motivating path to self-discovery and lasting change. Incorporating positive psychology principles, personal experiences, and professional counseling guidance elevates this sobriety journal to a holistic and transformative tool.
I genuinely love the community aspect. Sobriety is not a solitary journey, and the author acknowledges this by providing access to a fantastic community of individuals who have walked the same path.
"Sober On A Drunk Planet – The Challenge" is not just a book; it's a life-changing guide for anyone ready to break free from the chains of alcohol. I'll be offering this as a resource in my life coaching practice. I highly recommend it

Love the reframe
The Challenge is a unique look at sobriety in the form of a 31 day sprint versus an initially overwhelmingly lifelong commitment. A big part of this is using positive psychology and self talk to build momentum to then keep going after the initial 31 days are over.

I look forward to the 31 day challenge
I received this book as a gift and am very impressed. I have been sharing with my friends that I want to give up an old habit of having cocktail or a glass of wine every day. Most of my friends laugh and say that 1 drink a day is not anything to worry about, but I don't want to be a slave to this habit. Sean Alexander's approach is excellent as he lays out so many benefits of sobriety that I had not thought of. For example, I will save a lot of money and get more fit when I leave this habit behind me. I listen to the book all the way through, and now I look forward to downloading the included pdf and joining the 31 day challenge. I'll relisten to the book more slowly as I go through the 31 days because I think this will reinforce my decision.
