I picked this up for my nephew who's just starting to get into baseball, and we both ended up loving it! The story captures the ups and downs of being the "new kid" in town and trying to find your place, especially when things aren't easy at first. I could see him really relating to the main character's struggles with confidence and making friends, and how baseball became more than just a game. It’s got heart, humor, and some great lessons for kids about teamwork, resilience, and standing up for yourself. Highly recommend!
