About this listen

I have simply loved all of GH books. Devoured them. Love this and the Viking times especially concerning Anglo Saxon Britain. Simply loved these books and his others. Last of the Housecarls.

The book was fantastic, with more of the story of Aelfred and his gang of merry men. A little known part of history, and I feel it pays homage to all those brave Englishmen who fought the Normans, long after William had established history rule. And the harrowing of the north, was harrowing to hear
