About this listen

One platoon of Rangers from a legendary regiment. An isolated combat outpost in the Spin Ghar mountains. One-hundred-fifty Taliban survivors - armed with Tier-1 weapons - And all the rampaging dead guys in central Asia.

B Company, 3rd Bat, 75th Ranger Regiment - a unit that's fought in every US engagement from D-Day to Black Hawk Down. They are the last American boots on the ground in the entire Syrian civil war...on the last day before the Fall of human civilization. When they are tasked with stopping a unit of Spetsnaz operators from inserting under the chaos, an advanced Russian Navy frigate becomes the last place left on Earth for the Rangers to find refuge. Now, after six months held captive as scavenging mercenaries for Spetsnaz, to earn their freedom they will have to take on the most hazardous shore mission in the entire history of the ZA.

Another wild ride in the ZA

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much knowing the usual Alpha crew wouldn't be throwing down maximum violence in the ZA but God damn Michael Stephen Fuchs has done it again.

The only thing that I can possibly criticise this for is that it's over far too soon.

Arisen keeps on delivering

This was my fifth Arisen book and they just keep on delivering the goods. Each action sequence is incredibly detailed and R C Bray couldn't do a better job.

Yet another awesome story

Absolutely fantastic, like every great performance there’s a encore. If this waste adds by anyone else other than RC Bray it would have been good/ great. Thank you both for the awesome story and outstanding performance.

Just Perfect

Perfectly written by Michael Stephen Fuchs, the characters had depth and the story so well written with action from the beginning. RC Bray brilliant as usual. A must listen for fans of the series.

superb narration carries a decent story

A good enough Fuchs story with the expected military jargon and bravado, but being shorter doesn't deliver as memorable characters as the proper arisen series. Bray delivers a fantastic narration as per usual.

Another Nugget of Arsien Goodness!

Maybe Mr Fuchs ought to be off writing something new you could say but I for me I really enjoyed this latest little gem from the history of the ZA. It's right up there in terms of pace, purpose and action with the last few books of the main series albeit with different characters and a Spetsnaz that take a slightly different character profile to what we have seen before in these books.

But, if RC Bray bringing to life just a few more hours of Arisen action in his own wonderful style, telling tall tales of top-rate special operators kicking ass in amongst enemies both human and dead is what you are after then this will deliver that like a grenade going off between your headphones!

Short, sharp and Beautiful

There will be many how complain this is too short. For me it's simply brilliant. Both MSF and RC Bray at their best present a wonderful, poignant story that just grips you from the get go. As a true fan, I appreciated every single second of a wonderful story🔥🔥 MORE🔥...Please

Another classic Arisen

this book while short and just not built up in the same style as the main series has no problem fitting into the great series that is these books

a brilliant story that sneaks in well with the early ZA and still has the military descriptiveness that we love plus doesnt scrimp on the action!!

looking forward to lots more side stories
