Veronica is my literary hero!
I have adored each of the Penguin series from Hazel. Veronica McCreedy is one of my all time favourite characters. In her later years she has 'come back to life' as she discovers her calling to protect penguins. This part of her story is heart warming, funny, inspirational and honest. Hazel has created a beautiful cast of characters and unites three generations of women in a wonderful way. Highly recommend.

Lovely story
Lovely easy listen interesting and with a great message and fabulous characters. Nice ending to a three book story .

A lovely finale for all characters
I've enjoyed all three stories following Veronica McCreedy. This one felt more of a finale than opening up anything new but it was a joy to hear and didn't disappoint.

Tear jerking but wonderful
I can’t believe this is the last in the series. Such a good story, such a good ending. Narration was exceptional as always.

Very enjoyable informative read well worth reading if you’re going to Antarctica
Very enjoyable the characters were credible. Lots of really interesting factual information as well about Antarctica and the Falklands and Penguins! Who knew there were so many different types of penguins???!
The audio book is good although I wasn’t sure if Daisy‘s voice changed in the early chapters?
