I'm sure this mite be obvious but I didn't really pick up the clues. is wraith the same wraith in both parts. there was a mention of twenties rifle so he must have been part of the first story but I don't think his name he uses (either of them,no spoils) is his acctual name. Chun mebies?

As always R.C. Bray is awesome in his performance in giving real depth and affinity to even the more questionable characters.
I am hooked and it gives me something to listen to while waiting for the next Expeditionary Force book (essential listening!!)

Onto the stories (there are two).
Both were just the right balance of depth and pace. Great storytelling in both. It was clear form the outset these were part of an epic (and I am writing this while listening to Part 5!). I note that some reviewers were confused by the two separate stories. I almost didn't purchase these because I read those reviews. Ignore that. The stories are directly linked in future parts.
The characters were well rounded, the backstory hinted at. This isn's simply the specifics around this story, but the whole galaxy. This feels like an incredibly well-prepared storyline with a great deal more to come.
