An enthralling story with rollercoaster intricate lines of thread that tie together neatly near the finale. Absolutely superb narration helps to bring this novel to a vivid level of life that makes you involved at another level!

Well-narrated and very interesting re-telling of Roman History. After reading Colleen McCullough's series I was a little skeptical but this is interesting and fast-paced albeit not near enough detail.

Leaves you with awe. Characters are real, relentless and riveting. Narration is fantastic and the Conn Iggulden is legendary with the storyline. Most captivating way of learning about real historical characters through some fictional dramatisation. Absolutely loved the whole series.
