About this listen

The explosive trilogy from NYT bestselling Author Nicholas Sansbury Smith (Hell Divers, The Extinction Cycle).

The ultimate fight for the future has arrived.

On a war torn Earth, the mighty Nova Alliance is the last defense against the treacherous Coalition. At the heart of this defense are the Engines–formidable, genetically enhanced soldiers. Under the command of the legendary Captain Akira Hayashi, the elite Shadow Squad has defended the frontlines for years. But just as victory seems imminent, the Coalition strikes hard, targeting the very sites meant to heal the wounded planet.

Amidst the chaos, a new beacon of hope emerges: Apeiron. A groundbreaking fusion of human and AI, Apeiron is not only programmed for warfare but for something Captain Hayashi never thought possible: peace. Yet, as battles rage on, Apeiron unravels a chilling secret that poses an even graver danger to humanity.

As the countdown to E-Day begins, it's not just about winning a war–it's about the survival of humanity. Dive into this tale of valor, intrigue, and the ultimate fight for a future Earth at war.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!
