About this listen

When alien species converge on Earth, each enlisting the help of humans, only one author has the testicular fortitude to envision the madness that ensues: Jeremy Robinson.

In the serene backdrop of New Hampshire's Franconia Notch, Micah Taylor, an ex-Army Ranger, finds solace with his loyal golden retriever, Grover. Their peaceful existence is suddenly shattered when a first date with his old friend, Jess Bender, takes an unexpected turn. Bright lights descend from the sky, leading them into the dark woods and a shocking discovery: the Kylonari, an advanced alien species with a special connection to Micah, here on a quest to find "The Lost Tribe"—a colony that vanished millennia ago.

Micah, Jess, and Grover soon find themselves in the crosshairs of the enigmatic Twilight Directorate, a covert agency hell-bent on capturing the Kylonari. As alliances are forged and galactic secrets unravel, they learn of an even graver threat: the Draun, a merciless genocidal species. They have come to Earth, have infiltrated our society, and are eager to drag humanity into the cosmos's deadliest war.

Good Boys is a whirlwind of suspense, humor, and heart written by #1 Audible and New York Times bestselling author Jeremy Robinson. Dive into an action-packed tale where loyalty, love, and the bonds of friendship are tested against the vast and violent mysteries of the universe.

Utterly ridiculous, utterly brilliant!

I haven’t laughed out loud or shed tears as much from a book ever! Jeremy Robinson has once again cemented himself as my favourite author! The concept is ridiculous and the storytelling brilliant.
I have struggled to listen to anyone other than RC Bray for quite sometime and wasn’t sure how I would get on with someone new but Tom Taylorson brings the characters alive and was a joy to listen to.
If you love dogs, get this book. If you love Si-Fi, get this book. If you love both… well you’re in for a treat!

Literally listened and finished in one weekend if it was a paper book it would have been great. But, voices bring it to life

Amazing!

Another outstanding book by JR. I laughed out loud so many times and had a lump in my throat a few as well. Brilliant narration from Tom Taylorson who brought the characters to life. Thank you JR.

Goofy, fun, emotional, wonderful narrator.

What a wonderful book, and genuinely impressive narration.

I'm really picky with my narrators, generally sticking to a trusted few. Today a new one joined that list. You know how sometimes when you see someone do a job, and you think, "I could do that, maybe better honestly" This isn't that; this is "wow, that is genuinely beyond me", like watching a sprint at the Olympics. You can't criticise something that's far beyond your own ability, and this narration is just that.

The story is a wonderful ride that relaxes into itself, unashamedly endearing and fun.

Robinson is a good human, and Grover is a very Good Boy.

Excellent adventure

Loved the unique story, the humour is great, with more than one moment that made me chuckle out loud. As a binge listener the rapid release schedule for the trilogy is fantastic (for me) and a very brave move to produce a series without feedback on the performance of the first. Can't wait to listen to the next.

Brilliant, have laughed out loud several times.

Any story as fun as this and that mocks star trek discovery is worth 6 out of 5 stars. Love it.

Such a brilliant concept!

Having listened to everything published by Jeremy Robinson I was a little hesitant in pre-ordering Good Dogs, especially with a narrator that was new to me. I am so glad I took a chance on this book - brilliant, funny and original - the choice of narrator was excellent too - this is now my favourite Jeremy Robinson book 🙏

This is ridiculous

And I love it!! I'm a fan of Jeremy Robinson but when he adds humour, outlandish plots and over the top characters they are my favourite by far and the geek in me rejoices with every film reference! This had me laughing out loud, giving shocked pikachu looks and had me in tears (dang chapter 60, my heart!) Tom Taylorson did an outstanding job narrating these characters, at points you would have thought it was a full cast playing these parts. I'm soooo looking forward to the next installment
