About this listen

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Do Not Disturb by Claire Douglas, read by Hannah Daniel.

Could your dream home be your worst nightmare?

After what happened in London, Kirsty needs a fresh start with her family.

And running a guesthouse in the Welsh mountains sounds idyllic.

But then their first guest arrives.

Selena is the last person Kirsty wants to see.

It's 17 years since she tore everything apart.

Why has she chosen now to walk back into Kirsty's life?

Is Selena running from something too?

Or is there an even darker reason for her visit?

Because Kirsty knows that once you invite trouble into your home, it can be murder getting rid of it....

Critic reviews

"This kept me up last night. Scary. Twisty. All too believable. Exactly what you need for a bestselling chiller-thriller." (Jane Corry, best-selling author of My Husband's Wife)

"Secrets lurk behind every corner in this dark, gothic thriller. Absorbing and chilling." (Karen Perry, best-selling author of Girl Unknown)

"A page-turning slow burn that builds into a chilling reminder that sometimes home is where the hurt is." (Cara Hunter, best-selling author of Close to Home)

Not as riveting as the Wrong Sister, same author but different narrator
There is nothing wrong with it , but it dragged on a little…
First part was ok, some good drama etc but for me , the rest was an average storyline, with some mystery, unexcitedly narrated tbh.

Ok if your expectations aren’t too high.

Disappointing

This is my second venture into Clare Douglas books and it did not disappoint. Beautifully read with a lilting welsh accent. Difficult to put down and now onto the next one.

Dedicated reader !!!

Might have been better had Kirsty not been the most self centred, pious character

The most annoying main character

Great story! Loved the twists and turns.

Found the main character a bit whingey, not sure if this was the narrators voice or the character itself!

Was gripped at the end though!

Really enjoyed it!

I enjoyed this but not as much as others by the same author.
Everyone was awake that night though so keep guessing about who dunnit right until the end!

Pretty good thriller

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

Boring boring, badly written (too many sentences starting ‘suddenly’) and far too long when it was perfectly obvious what had happened. Annoying central character too

Far too many bumps in the night!

Loved it & almost finished in one sitting.
I was hooked from the beginning & would never have guessed the twist at the end.
Claire Douglas is a master story teller & doesn't disappoint!

Full of Twists & Turns

Loved this book, it was full of twists and surprises until the very last chapter

Mystery

I love these books. I really hope you keep the narrator. However, I watched the series and I can't believe Karen let them butcher these books.

Love

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

An engaging story that weaves together multiple character arcs in a cohesive and surprising way. Just when I thought I knew where it was headed, it took an unexpected turn. A solid and enjoyable narrative overall.

Great Plot Twists and Surprises
