Wasn't expecting much from this book as I bought it from the Daily Deal and to be honest I have not had a great experience from that. However, from the start this story caught my imagination and I was hooked. Loved the characters who were all flawed to a greater or lesser degree. The plot depicts the consequencies of the decisions we make and the kids we tell which at times are devastating intentionally or not. Lovely misleading plot too. This is also a love story of sorts but not in the romantic sense. For me the narration was spot on. Would certainly recommend.

I can’t believe the plot twist at the end! I highly recommend this book/audiobook. The narrator is absolutely amazing too! The little girls voice she does is so hauntingly accurate. I will be listing to this book for years to come I am sure 10/10

The reader keeps saying what sounds like 'he' when it's a woman who's referred to. It's confusing and very annoying!

This book started off well but soon deteriorated and was just confused and ridiculous. The narrator did a good job but I was pleased when I finished the book, I managed to doze off through parts of it.
