This is a collection of twenty-nine short stories, highly diverse in character, and quick to read--none are longer than 4000 words. There are two comedic stories about a woman anxious to get her thirty year old son married. There are two murder mysteries. There is one about a man advertising to meet a woman and comes across his ex-wife, one about a woman complaining about her husband who has just left her--to go live with his sister--, and another about a man found watching pornographic movies right after the funeral of his wife.

Beth, #57, goes out of town for a long time so he takes up with Donna, #59, a lovely attorney. Meanwhile, his employee’s gorgeous young wife, Ruby, keeps hitting on him. Life becomes even more complicated when he meets Joyce,#61, a TV chef, who considers him a womanizer. Is the advice he gets from Sonia, his book promoter, selfless or self-serving?

This book is a collection of diverse stories similar to the author's first book - Stories to Entertain You... If You Get Bored on Your Wedding Night. Two stories are about slavery based on reviewing the narratives of ex-slaves compiled by the WPA in 1936-38. Stories are about recidivism, anger management and interracial marriage are related. Several stories are about relationships, many with unexpected endings. The author's entry into a retirement community gave rise to two stories and a fictitious one-year diary.
