Running from a painful past, Gracie fled to New Mexico - and Jake - with a child named Charity in her arms. When their young relatives start showing up and moving in, the neighbors get suspicious. Then a body is found in the backyard and the life they are trying to build comes undone.

On Saturday night we always went to Hicksville. The streets were packed full of people who came to shop, visit friends, or go to the Huber Theater to see a movie. It was hard to get a parking place if you didn't go early.
