• Just Us: Girl boss feminism, billionaire vanity projects and a postpartum identity crisis
    Apr 23 2025

Em was thirty minutes late to the studio today - she arrived looking fabulous and with a tale to tell… it was a hell of a 12 hours to be Em (or her hair). We also discuss mispronouncing words in a professional capacity and the true meaning of the phrase 'take heed'.

Listener Vanessa emailed us about the first all female space flight - so we dive into the questions that it has raised about girl boss feminism, tokenism and billionaire vanity projects.

  • When IVF doesn’t work out... with Anna Hart
    Apr 20 2025

When it comes to IVF - the narrative can often be to keep going and going, and going until you have a baby.

Sometimes, however, the more sensible decision is to stop - and that is what was right for Anna Hart and her husband.

Anna is content creator, interiors planner and digital strategist. After starting her IVF journey during lockdown, and after three unsuccessful rounds - they made the decision to stop.

This is a side of the IVF conversation we don’t often hear about - Anna tells us about what she went through and how she has found happiness after coming out the other side of IVF without a baby.

    Apr 16 2025

This week - Em’s recovering from a patchy wax and Al has an Is It Just Me about information overload. We discuss the conundrum of leaving bad reviews, brands that don’t pay their influencers and the joy of seeing men get toupees.

We also chat about White Lotus - and there’s a strong loved it vs hated it divide in the studio.

  • Just Us: This should stay private
    Apr 9 2025

Brace yourselves…. we’ve got an awkward episode for you today.

Em and Alex start us off by sharing some awkward accidental online encounters and tales of naked hilarity… then we dive into your awkwards. Prepare to have sticky toffee pudding ruined for you for the rest of your life…

We also ask a question about parody videos - Em Rata blocked Celeste Barber after she posted parodies of her online. Should people who post online be prepared to be parodied? And why do we feel like it’s okay to make fun of beautiful people online?

    Apr 6 2025

Kevin Devonport is a multi-award winning artist - his work has been displayed worldwide to much acclaim… but his entry to the art world is not what you might expect because he learned to paint whilst he was serving a prison sentence for drug offences.

  • Just Us: Chappell Roan on motherhood, Remi Bader’s weight loss surgery and why we need to stop policing women’s opinions
    Apr 2 2025

Get ready because we're sharing Em’s problematic sunbathing plans for this summer and Al’s been dropping some more French references… quelle surprise!

We also discuss two of the biggest moments of internet discourse from this week… firstly Remi Bader made a splash by talking about her weight loss surgery on Khloe Kardashian’s podcast and then Chappell Roan said that all her friends with children are in hell. We discuss our collective policing of women’s choices and opinions - and why some people feel entitled to criticise women online for things they choose to do.
