About this listen

The White Lich has conquered Mallon and smashed all resistance to him. Now, he marches on the north. Within weeks, Narashtovik will fall to his armies. Gask will follow.

And after that, there can be no stopping him.

Dante and Blays have a single hope of victory: the Spear of Stars, the long-lost weapon that may be capable of killing the lich. There's just one problem. Though they've learned the spear is real, they've also learned the nine parts of the weapon are guarded by the gods themselves. And they have no intention of handing over their prize.

Alone in a strange realm, with no friends or allies, and a growing list of enemies, Dante and Blays' task looks doomed.

Yet, they're the last line standing between the lich and the destruction of their whole world.

Brilliant

I love the book series and the narration, but it seems to me that the audio quality is a little lacking in the one. Not terrible, but a little thin and tinny compared to most other titles available.

A drop off in audio quality?

The sound started off poor, but soon went back to normal. The cycle of Galand books are my favourite series, and this one is up there with the best. I didn't want it to end, and can't wait for the next book.

The sound quality was a bit wonky at first

I had been looking forward to this for months and was not disappointed.

Dante and Blays are in the land of the Gods to attempt to win the spear of stars. Many challenges lay in their path which they must overcome all before The White Lich can conquer their world in the fallen lands.

Excellent narration again by Tim Reynolds who has been consistent through all the books.

Yet another belter from Edward W Robertson!

The relationships between characters are good and it's an enjoyable listen.
A bit more depth with the characters would make it even better.
