The ending
This book honestly didn’t grab me until the end. I thought it was dark and gross but that ending. It was literally like a movie I could see it. Action packed amazing. Bravo a great debut and superbly written.

Psychotic
Whoaaaa what the hell have I just read ??? 😱
Set over the Christmas period, this book is dark as hell and oh so brutal, gruesome and totally psychotic, but with loads of humour. Governess Winifred Notty is a character I m unlikely to forget! She's certainly no Mary Poppins! It is totally original and gripping. but not for the faint hearted!
Anna Burnett's narration is spot on.

Vile, disturbing... amazing!
I loved this audiobook, as disturbing as it was it was also witty and it pulled me in! Listened to it in a day

Gloriously Horrifying!
Not for the feint-hearted or animal lovers. This was brilliantly narrated and enjoyed every minute of this disturbing, funny, horrific tale.

Lacking
Overall a dull story with little plot development, poor characters and ridiculous gore. Has none of the nuance or intelligence of tiles like American Psycho. The narrator was fine but really how do they not know how to pronounce valet? Distracting & a huge waste of time.

Why?
If you want gore for gore’s sake then this is for you. It was not for me. Totally unnecessary book. Like a bad B movie. Great narrator tho.
