About this listen

Forced behind enemy lines. Ready to do battle with slavers, spiders, and ghosts.

Say hello to the new and improved Clyde Hatchett...who's only a level-four nothing.

He's on a (seemingly never-ending) quest to get back to his life in Glaton. And now, all that stands in his way are the Empire-hating Carchedonians, a death cult, and a traitorous party member. Oh, and a mythical city that very probably doesn't exist.

Prepare to be blown out of the water on this cutthroat journey through the darkest corners of Vuldranni. Clyde has reached the end of his known world. And that's where the adventure begins.

I always think these books are too short and they could stick two together to make one reasonably sized book. The cynical side of me says the author is milking the fans a bit but I have bought all the series so far so I can't complain it's not compelling at least.

The last two books were pretty similar, sort of but it is not padded out with any extraneous material and it files by too quickly and there is certainly no danger you will get stuck or bored, there is simply no time for that.

Entertaining

I love these books but the books has become shorter and shorter whivh becomes a disapointment after waiting halv a year to a year for a new book to release.
