I really enjoyed this book. The only negative I have is the fact that Sarai (the FMC) was hard work. She was constantly negative and turning her back on everything through the majority of the book and it got on my nerves and made me so mad at her because she could have easily just asked multiple times what the situation was but never bothered because she would rather avoid the answer. Other than that it was really enjoyable, I loved the plot twists. Definitely didn’t see a couple of them coming. And the ending was enjoyable. I’m looking forward to seeing how the final book ends and getting some closure on some big questions I have.

I was so disappointed with this book after really enjoying the first two in the series. The main character is unlikable and didn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. The story seemed cobbled together from other stories which has worked well in other books I've read, but this was disjointed and seemed to be done for the sake of it and not because it meant anything to the story. I couldn't relate to any of the characters, they were just so irritating. I almost put the book down several times but convinced myself it would get better. It didn't, but at least for the second half I sped it up. There's too many bad points to mention. The narration was good.
