Kept ignoring this as a recommendation as described as YA. It is YA but still very enjoyable and I was fully engrossed. I am looking forward already to listening to book 2.

Was a bit apprehensive thinking I may not be the typical target reader, but very quickly got into and enjoyed immensely

Pretty impressive. I didn't realise this was a book written for the young adult category until I was half way through, the first couple of chapters really were surprisingly frightening. The ending was slightly predictable to me but I have the unfair advantage of being a writer myself. Over all a enjoyable book for anyone, young or old. Thank you Mr Stroud.

Watched the show first and wanted to see if the book was as good. It is, a good fun fiction

Loke I suspect many, I came to this from the TV series (which I really enjoyed).
This is a slightly different story to that but don't worry, it's better.
Moves a great pace, the characters are excellent and, oddly for the subject matter, relatable.
Performance is excellent too and makes it even better.

So I have to disclose that I did in fact watch the Netflix adaptation series first and fell in love with that, I didn’t plan on listening to the book but since Netflix decided to cancel season two I HAD to listen to this book to then listen to the rest of them. This did not disappoint, the reader was very good I found her interesting, the story with chefs kiss in young thriller and I love Gorge’s snarky sarcastic comments, Lockwood’s attitude and Lucy take on them. I will 100% listen to the other books. I am hooked.

story hope the high level of storytelling keeps up with the this first one, very intriguing and great for young and old , shall definitely be downloading the next one and find out more of the trio of Lockwood and Co

Was introduced to Lockwood & Co by the recent TV adaption. The show was really enjoyable but the book is even better.
