About this listen

“Read this book, strengthen your resolve, and help us all return to reason.” —JORDAN PETERSON

There’s a war against truth … and if we don’t win it, intellectual freedom will be a casualty.

The West’s commitment to freedom, reason, and true liberalism have become endangered by a series of viral forces in our society today. Renowned host of the popular YouTube show The Saad Truth, Dr. Gad Saad exposes how an epidemic of idea pathogens are spreading like a virus and killing common sense in the West.

Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic first-hand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society and how these have created serious consequences that must be remedied—before it’s too late.

I recently went down a Gad Saad rabbit hole
Watching podcast after podcast, and videos as well
This audiobook has spoken what I've always believed, but couldn't articulate properly. Only issue (but extremely minute issue) is that i wanted him to read it in his voice.
Still recommending to everyone i know. Especially those who NEED it

I love this

Gad Saad Says what so many of us are thinking- but better!

An excellent narration too. Very easy to listen to.

Loved this book!

This is a decent book, which uses the evolutionary idea of the meme, to identify and then challenge ideologies which Sad regards as dangerous. For anyone new to this kind of approach, who is dipping their toes into anti-woke waters for the first time, this will be a valuable and accessible book. Those who have already read authors like Dawkins, Murray, Hirsi-Ali, Harris, Sowell, Hitchens, Goodhart, will find little new here.

Good book, but nothing new.

I really enjoy listening to Gad Saad on interviews which is what drew me to the book.

He is a remarkable man with an interesting origin story. Saad weaves seamlessly in and out of complex issues in a compelling way.

I would recommend this title for anyone who is liberal but thinks that certain movements are going a bit too far.

Punchy and Pertinent

Great listen, really enjoyed the sarcasm applied to some of the subject matters, it's the level of ridicule needed to combat some of the nonesense you hear being said with a straight face these days.

Superb

A good luck at the world of ideas that has to be challenged or negotiated most days, by many people.

An important book for all those who suffer the oppression of minority views. An educational resource that can be revisited to make you more resilient and knowledgeable during online and in-person interactions.

Clear and incisive.
