Here we go again .... In traditional Dan Brown style we are returned to the mystical world of Professor Robert Langdon and yet again he has a sexy, intelligent, companion throughout this epic adventure.
Basically, if you enjoy the Dan Brown style then you will drop lightly into the characters in this tale of the New World. The usual sysbologist aproach to the solving of a mystery, add in the usual secret societies and a touch of drama and awaay you go. Throughly enjoyable.
You will always be left with food for thought and a desire for more if you enjoyed The Davinci Code and Angels and Demons then here is the next step on the staircase.

After all the excitement it took two goes at listening to the ending to realise my player hadn't switched off - it had just run out of story. Pity.

overall fun and easy listening as is usual for Dan brown. typical heavy influence of symbols and mythology and religion and history, so interesting to listen to. it is however a little annoying that the characters are constantly not just saying it straight to eachother. they're always speaking in clues and making other characters spin and spin about what things mean. it's meant to create suspense but it just annoyed me. 😂

As always I came away from this book thinking about a lot more than just Robert Langdon. Food for thought as they say. A hugely enjoyable story built around the secrets and intrigues of the real world with a bit of mysticism thrown in for good measure. Brilliant.

The whole God damn (haha, 'God', get it?) was filled with the most interesting facts and trivia. Narrator was brilliant too, he brought the scenes to life, made things intense, suspenseful, amazing. Overall was super delightful. 33/10 (Catch that easter egg lmaoooo)

I can genuinely say that I found this book enjoyable and entertaining and found the narration by Paul Michael, enhanced the experience. Having said that, whilst many of the details are interesting, I would agree with some other reviewers that this book could have come to an end much sooner and actually been better as I think it was rather drawn out...
