I started reading this story and by the first chapter I was hooked this is definitely a woman’s story, but as a man, it’s amazing the story is all about feelings and accomplishments it has romance love and lots of humour a great read or should I say a great lesson David X

Quite enjoyed the unusual plot but the sudden end left so much unanswered- I had to check that I hadn’t accidentally clicked to the end.

This book was really lovely to read, a great storyline with female empowerment. A great story of a young woman using her natural talents to overcome her horrible father’s demands. It is an easy to listen to book

I read this when it first came out - it’s fun and very light hearted. I listened to it in audible and is perfect if you just want to zone out of life or go to sleep. Frankly there are better things to read.
It’s very much of ‘its time’ maybe in 10 years it will be a quaint period piece giving an insight to London life.

Absolutely loved it. What a great story for escaping. Perfect narration and storyline. Can’t wait for the follow up story and hope it includes Jonathan.
