I normally guess who’s who before the end but this kept me thinking nice story..

I first read this books years ago, so when it came on the plus catalogue I had to listen to it again. It's a great story but for me the narration let it down, Betsy is supposed to be 27 but sounds like she's in her 50s, so it's hard to match the narration to the story.

This was like an afternoon film, a nice easy story and It was interesting and different listening to a book about 'Finishing School' but it did drag on and it felt like it would never end!

The narrator did her job well except for the fact 'Betsy' The main character was 27 years old yet the narrator sounded 20 years older than that, so Lara J.West sounded like she was 47 years old ~ that was the only thing I didn't agree on.

I would not listen to this again, so I wouldn't recommend spending a credit on it but I listened to this book for FREE through the Plus Catalogue included membership 🌠
