About this listen
For three days out of 30, when the moon is full and her law is iron, the Great North Pack must be wild. If she returns to her Pack, the stranger will die. But if she stays....
Silver Nilsdottir is at the bottom of her Pack's social order, with little chance for a decent mate and a better life. Until the day a stranger stumbles into their territory, wounded and beaten, and Silver decides to risk everything on Tiberius Leveraux.
But Tiberius isn't all he seems, and in the fragile balance of the Pack and wild, he may tip the destiny of all wolves....

.
I was so drawn in by the main characters: Silver a resilient female wolf with a disability and Ti, a troubled shifter, who cleverly protect their pack from ruthless humans.
The beginning took me a little bit to get used to the writing style, I think maybe it was just the language used by the wolves it was very pack specific, so it took me a minute.
The author really balances horror and humour well here. Silver belongs to the Great North Pack; though she is a small wolf with a handicap, her strength is remarkable.
She prefers her wolf form and only shifts to human when absolutely necessary. Her pack consists of wolves that can transform into humans, yet they primarily embrace their animal nature.
Under the full moon, the entire pack transforms into wolves, surrendering to their primal instincts. When a half-shifter, capable of changing at will, enters their territory, Silver takes a perilous risk to save Tiberius, defying her pack's expectations.
There’s an undeniable pull towards him that she cannot resist.
I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the wilderness through Silver's perspective, appreciating her deep connection to her home. Despite her human traits, Silver remains predominantly wolf, and I admired how Maria Vale honours this aspect of her character.
The romance between Silver and Tiberius is intense and slow-burning.
Absolutely adored this and can't wait to read more of this series
