I was not expecting the supernatural plot point, personally I enjoyed it but it definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea. The story was a bit disjointed and the plot points didn't all exactly fit, but I liked it anyway and would listen to more from the author.

The story is a very slow-starter with the first few chapters being unnecessary ramble of back-history narrative. However, the last few chapters are pacey and twisty although nobody would guess which way this story goes! The narrator was excellent though and made me continue to listen to the end.

Another great novel from Riley Sager! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't "that" paranormal thing towards the end.
I love how Riley Sager tells a story and how at the end everything is figured and sorted out without leaving any questions for the reader. Everything is complete.

Took a while to get to the good bit. Almost DNF it but I’m so glad I persevered because I loved it by the time I had finished it.

This was a really enjoyable listen and easy to get into, but also an unexpected plot twist that elevated the story line. Would recommend!

At one point I was ready to stop listening as nothing seemed to be happening.
And then the twist came. I'm so glad I stuck with it.

Nothing about the premise felt fresh, it was mostly predictable, except for some of the twists at the end that weren’t predictable but only because they were quite daft.
Having said all that it was a reasonably entertaining listen, if you’ve got a credit to use and nothing else takes your fancy. The narrator is easy to listen to

It starts of intriguing but a little clunky due to the protagonist's bizzare choices. But give it time. The last quarter of the book will snap your neck 🤣
