About this listen
A love story that will break your heart but put it back together again from the author of The Songs of Us.
Lost:
Six-foot-two Irish man who answers to the name Samuel McLaughlin.
Has weak shins and enjoys show tunes.
If found, please return to Sophie Williams.
Before Sophie met Samuel she saw the world in grey.
Before Samuel met Sophie, he never believed in love at first sight.
When they first meet, something tells them they are meant to be.
But fate has other ideas.
Now they have lost each other and can't see a way back.
But they've already changed each other's lives in more ways than they ever expected...

A beautiful trip on the rollercoaster of life.
Emma Cooper, writes with such depth and emotion. She can literally make you laugh, then cry, all on the same page.
Sophie and Samuel, fall madly in love. Then through a series of misunderstandings and life’s cruel blows, they lose eachother. Can they find eachother again, before it’s too late?
This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. It literally made me laugh and cry.
Emma Cooper’s description of disability, is empathetic, well informed and true to life.
If this book doesn’t touch your heart, you may well be made of stone.
An absolutely brilliant, warm, witty and heartbreaking read.

The Best
I absolutely loved this story, It’s the best audible book I’ve heard since I joined Audible, I hope it’s not a “one off” from Emma Cooper.

Speechless........
Sometimes an author's story is so well written, full of compassion, empathy, tender, sad, heart breaking moments.... and you just feel it, you resonate with it, you appreciate it. Then when you add narrators that bring it to life so much better than you could have by reading, you get to the end.... well.... it left me Speechless..... Love it when I find "something special" to read.

Superb!
Absolutely adored this book, everything about it. Every character was just so likeable and by the end I was in love with Samuel’s family and had laughed and cried with them.

Really enjoyed this
The story is packed with twists and turns, unputdownable. A book to make me laugh and cry. It is very well read, bringing life to Sophie and especially Samual. Before I finish this book I was checking to find more by the same author and hope to read or listen to more of hers. I'm partially sighted so this one resonated with me in a way I didn't expect.

Fantastic
I loved this - such a great story and brilliant narration! I did get slightly frustrated with all the missed opportunities but it was worth it in the end! The narrators were superb.
