About this listen
Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of The Eye of Heaven by Clive Cussler and Russell Blake, read by Scott Brick. Book six in the Fargo Adventures series.
Baffin Island: Sam and Remi Fargo are on a climate control expedition in the Arctic when they discover a Viking ship in the ice, perfectly preserved - and filled with pre-Columbian artefacts from Mexico.
How can that be? As they research, clues about a link between the Vikings and the legendary Toltec feathered serpent-god Quetzalcoatl and a fabled object known as the Eye of Heaven soon emerge.
And the Fargos find themselves on the run from treasure hunters, crime cartels, and those with far more personal motivations for stopping them from unearthing the solution to a thousand-year-old mystery....

Another interesting and enjoyable adventure with the Fargo's. If you enjoy a globetrotting adventure, with some historical treasure forming the basis of the story then this book (and series) is for you.I'd concede that this one isn't as strong as previous adventures, but it is still an enjoyable listen from start to finish. Its clear that the Fargo's clearly have more than nine lives!
Well worth a listen if you're a fan of the Cussler/Steve Berry/Dan Brown style of books.
An enjoyable Fargo adventure

Narration - Can't go wrong with Scott Brick.
The Toltec - Viking angle is kind of cool.
The Bad:
Story is extremely formulaic and at times rather dull.
Weak read herrings. You'll know what I mean if you buy it. (Don't).
Horribly bad ending.
Extremely formulaic.
