Wow this is amazing 3 books in 1 and awesome books they are too. A must buy for anyone who loves zombies and strong young female characters. The narrator Kim Bretton is absolutely fabulous, she brings these people alive and her accents are amazing. If you want to do 1 great thing for yourself get this series you won’t regret it

I have enjoyed the story so far- book one just finished. However, the story is set in Scotland and whilst the narrator is perfectly fine as far as she goes- there is no sign of a Scottish accent for any character. I have listened to other post apocalyptic novels set or starting off in Scotland- and the producers managed to find either Scottish readers or readers from somewhere else who did a really good job at the accents where needed. A rather constant irritation for this book.

I really enjoyed the box set, so much so that I've bought the next two books. I don't like Robyn much but she might grow on me, I've another two books to find out. I can recommend this book, it's great value for money.

Brilliant story which devoid the characters of two sisters and their adventure in a new world

So I may be a pedant but I can’t stop myself from being annoyed at the word burglar being pronounced burguler and it distracted from the story for me.

I also found the readers Glaswegian accent laughable. I may have been spoiled by listening to Joe Jameson and Aubrey Parsons so recently but the narration was very poor in my opinion and detracted from a decent story.

It was odd mainly because she had not voiced other characters, at least I don’t think there were different voices as they sounded all the same.

In short a decent story ruined for me by the voice actor.

this series is absolutely superb I've read all of this authors books and they're so good I bought all the audio books too ! absolutely brilliant the narrator does a spectacular job bringing it all together. grab it now and u won't be disappointed.

I have to say having read another series by this author I was expecting the best and it delivered.
I was surprised! At first I did not take to the young female characters thinking it may be another teenage series. I am 64 years of age. However the fast pace of this draws you in quickly and I realised my first thoughts were unfounded. It was brilliant. As I say on all these reviews beware it is addictive but in a very special way.
