Firstly let me say I appreciate all authors and the time they take to tell their stories, that being said oh my God this book was a disaster the heroine goes through so much it’s nearly too much to comprehend, I love a dark romance and really enjoy a dark story, but the hero in this is really ridiculous, he punches the heroine in the face more than once, he carves the number 15 into the side of her face, he enables her to cut her own finger off!!!! I understand that they are portrayed as damaged soul’s but the plot just doesn’t add up, she walks on glass, she breaks her leg and still she’s able to run around, able to save herself and
she’s able to rescue children, (did I mention that she was in a coma for a month) she swallows little bags of drugs and the hero has to punch her in the stomach to get the last few up, but she bounces back from that and has sex with the hero !!! I had invested my credit so I persisted but really I will never get these hours back I don’t doubt that the author has talent it’s just I think she was trying to throw everything but the kitchen sink at the story and it just went on and on misery after misery I just wanted it to end….
What did I just listen too?
