This book is the second in the series of historical/medical thrillers. I’ve loved both and I’m just off to buy the third book n the series.

This series is incredibly good! If you like history and murder mystery. It really brings Scotland to life and the medical thinking at that time, but the clever part is that each book has a murder plot unraveling and a different narrator for the two main characters and one for the murderer too!!
Excellently written and I thoroughly recommend :-)

I live in Edinburgh and loved to hear a story based on historical characters of this city. This was intelligently written and I got immersed in this story quickly.

I have to start by saying this was good 👍 but I didn't feel like I gained any extra info on the main characters. looking forward to the third installment.

This is the second book in this series, I enjoyed the first so much I immediately looked for the next.
Really good description of the era, with twists and turns. Good narration from both main characters.
