Surprisingly good

I am hoping that a second and third review of the text will enable me to draw out a clearer idea of how to apply Soros' wisdom. Maybe I am lacking this ability.

Somewhat disappointing..

very open and revealing. George lets see wander around in his mind without restrictions, the inception of every thought detailed and explained. inviting you into his world without forcing you to accept and impressively aware it may not be of value to you.

for those who want the norm to be challenged and a more flexible outlook on life and investing.

I am a big fan of George Soros and I think The Alchemy of Finance is a very good book but I was disappointed by the length of this audio book. I was hoping for something like 15 hours minimum to cover all from the paper book which I have and which is a big book but it's only around 3 hours. Please do a longer version.

A lot shorter than the paper book.

Great read

Soros' reflexivity (wederkerigheid) can be viewed as a characteristic of chaos/complexity. It shows the fault in economic theory in a most salient way.

Chaos

really boring without the possibility of extrapolating to real life. it's a famous book only bc the author is famous, but does not add to general knowledge

boring book

This is a classic from Soros and I keep a hardcopy in my bookshelf. Audible version is abridged and the narration is bad that it bores me to sleep after 5 mins

Abridged and poor narrator
