A lovely story with wonderful gentle characters. There is plenty of sorrow, so be warned, but beautifully written. Although not an awful lot actually happens, you are captured in the flow and don't want it to end.

Beautiful is the only word to describe this book. The story is heartbreaking yet heart lifting. It's about families and everyday things, about a mother's love and a grandmother's love.
The narrator does a wonderful job bringing all the characters to life.
