Tom is divorced, straight, and desperate for money, but is he desperate enough to do porn.

Denny is a student just finishing his master's but making sure he doesn't end up with too much debt, so on the side, he stars in a few porn films and has his own cam boy account.

These two should not work on paper; at most points, they don't. But a beautifully told story about two people who are so guarded that they miss what the other one is feeling.

If you want a gr8 read, pick up a copy; you will not be disappointed.

Seb Yarrick did a wonderful job narrating this love story, although I had to increase the speed to 1.25 on Audible, which is my norm.

Str8 B8 starts with the situation that many have found themselves in before, in financial dire straights and turn to doing adult videos for money. Tom's experience is slightly different as he was under the impression, from the friend who recommended this to him, that he would be with a woman but things turn out a little differently. Denny has been doing porn for several years now and is familiar with the setup but he's never quite lusted after and connected with a newcomer like Tom. When all said and done, Tom swears never again but an unexpected encounter with Denny has him questioning how things went, just how much he liked it and how much he wants Denny again.
These two men clearly have a strong connection right from the start and I like that Tom didn't really hold it against Denny for the deception. Denny is understandably wary with Tom only now exploring his bisexuality, given his previous history with an ex. I love both men's attitudes towards the adult entertainment industry. Even for Tom, who is new to the whole experience, he doesn't look down on those who work in it, is just extremely nervous about doing it himself. When talking, the two men have a very easy friendship that takes no time to develop to more outside of the studio. The trouble comes when knowing what is real and what is for the camera.
There are some great friendships here, as well. Tom is still best friends with his ex-wife and enjoys spending time with her and her girlfriend. He even has a very good use for some of the money he makes from the videos. Denny lives in a house share with four other people and they're a lot of fun to be around and super supportive of both his studies, a Masters in business and finance, and his job.
Another highly recommended read from this author. I will read anything that she brings out and it never disappoints!

It did take me a bit to get into the narration from Seb. I don't know if it was the accent but once I was in, I fell in love with Tom and Denny's story all over again, as Tom tip toes through his exploration with Denny.

I love the story, the characters are funny and the strugle is real.
But the narration...at first I had an impresion it was read by AI. If it wasn't for the plot and characters I think I would have DNF it.

A unique take on the adult industry and it's men. Could be an interesting and colourful series.

This was good and I enjoyed Tom and Denny. They're hot, dynamic, independent and well rounded characters but I felt their connection was a bit off. There is lots of second guessing, especially from Tom and the way it was done was odd. There was a lot of shame and secrecy which I didn't think was needed as Tom's world was full of LGBTQ+ people. His hangups ran deep but there wasn't any deep reason as to why. He wasn't very open minded but his body was open to exploration. I guess I just didn't feel it.
I thought the narration was really good, nice accent, great performance.

Tom and Denny clicked when they did their first scene together but Tom is so conflicted about it; he’s always identified as straight. I loved all of the characters in this book. Tom’s ex-wife, and still his best friend, is so supportive of him; she helps him to work out how he really feels about Denny. Denny’s housemates are also supportive of him – once he lets them know what is going on.

This is a great slow burn (I don’t count the porn scenes) romance with lots of heart and two wonderful main characters that both have to work out their feelings for each other. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story!

Seb Yarrick did a good job performing this audiobook.

K.C. Wells blows me away with another wonderfully entertaining story and she turns up the heat for this beauty of a novel. I loved the uniqueness of this story, the storylines are original and interesting, they grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to like and care about too. Tom Ryder is an independent builder construction worker who works for himself, but business has not been that great because more companies are popping up and there is more competition for jobs. A friend suggests doing some adult videos, that it is easy cash and a fun time with a hot co-star. Because of his dire financial situation he goes for it, but his friend left out one not so minor detail, that his co-star was not a woman it is a man. Denny Bailey has been working with Ari and starring in adult films to help pay for college, he also does his own for his OnlyFans site. He was called in to work with a new client, a straight man baited into gay porn and when he got a look at his costar he loved what he saw and hoped he would take the bait. Tom did, he really could use the money which was double the original offer and he was a good sport about it too. Denny made him feel comfortable and walked him through everything and being with him was no hardship at all. He did feel some guilt after and when he talked to his friend he found out the same thing happened to him and he realized he was played, that there was never going to be a woman involved. And being it is a small world he sees Denny again and is about to give him a piece of his mind. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, Tom is still unsure about things, he was always into women, never gave men a thought, yet he enjoyed himself greatly and he really likes Denny. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a wonderfully plotted story with the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions, a beauty of a romance and steamy hot scenes that are well written and well done. K.C. Wells, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

He does a great job of bringing these characters to life and his portrayal of each was spot on, his character voices fit each of their personas perfectly and he was believable in every role he played. Yarrick sets the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into his performance. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

I liked the story and the writing style was wonderful as well. The topic of the adult industry and its performers was sensitively told by the author and I got as a listener a unique look behind the scenes.
It's about Tom and Denny. One has been in the business for a long time, the other joins in because life is not particularly kind to him at the moment and he is in a financial bind.
When the two meet for the first time, something clicks. And actually Tom is straight and the first shoot was based on a misunderstanding. Denny and Tom spend more time together and get to know each other. I liked the two of them, they are hot and each of them have great friends.
But Tom has a lot of doubts that I didn't always fully understand, because he already has some queer friends.
The story kept me entertained I really wanted to know how Denny and Tom's story ends.

As for the narrator, it took me a bit at first to get comfortable with Seb Yarrick's narration style. But then it was a good fit for me. Maybe I just needed to listen in a bit. I could distinguish the different characters well and I think Seb did a good job.

An enjoyable love story, with a very interesting premise that surprised and amused me but that showed again how fertile and interesting is Ms Wells imagination. Tom and Denny are sweet together and it was so nice how they found each other. Mr. Yarrick captured perfectly the spirit of both characters and managed beautifully the steamy scenes. The narration was simply perfect! A wonderful narration!
