Horace Rumpole is a classic character, perfectly portrayed by John Mortimer. I have read these stories many times, and they never fail to make me laugh. Beautifully read.

Nice to hear about Rumpole again and I loved the Long past TV series It starred Leo McKern as Horace Rumpole, a middle-aged London barrister who defended a broad variety of clients, often underdogs
