Two years have passed since the fall of Octagon the Bitter and the dire warning from Order. The barrier that once separated the Five Kingdoms from the rest of the world is failing. Morgan is the first to encounter one of these invaders, signaling that the time has come for him to set out on his mission. He won’t be going alone, as he is sidetracked by an unexpected guest when visiting the Ruined City. Morgan can’t remain in the Five Kingdoms for long and must set out for Faeland, the continent of their enemies.

The rulers of Faeland have been preparing as well. Warned by a new Pantheon of gods that the human scourge is free once again, they move to act before their ancient enemies have a chance. unfortunately I had to revise it a couple of times due to illness and falking asleep with the talking book on. but I have literally binge listened to this entire series. walking the dog, playing a game, in the car. loved it. thank you.

My only gripe with this series is how the author inflates the size of the book with stat sheets almost every 30min for no reason.

great linear storyline and I really like the relationship of the remaining group, the powers and insight of characters, was believable. Very well read by the narrator, who brought these novels to life for me. thank you!

Brillient Series

I'd never heard of 'LitRPG' before and am so glad I found it. The narrator was fabulous, worth distinct voices for the characters and perfect depiction of the story. Only tiny gripe is his pronunciation of "shone", but that's just down to personal preference!
Aaron Oster created an entire world, with commoners, magical beings, gods and more convincing and I got exactly what I was looking for... escapism from the real world with action, magic and believable characters. Books 1-10 well worth the credits!
