About this listen

Vengeful assassins. A treacherous companion. T-Rex Head Hands.

After the Wolfman nation is shattered, Jaxon has enough spare time to advance his skills and specialize into a better class. Since Joe and his other teammates are either incapacitated or on a mission Jaxon does not believe in, the misunderstood chiropractor-turned-gamer strikes out on his own.

The issue with creating your own path is that you have no idea what awaits you, especially when low charisma guarantees legendary misunderstandings. For Jaxon, that’s half the fun.

Rexus is a Completionist Chronicles side quest focused on Jaxon and is meant to be heard following Regicide.

Great fun, a short side quest but my god was it funny, the narration was hilarious. About to start book 4, see you guys after that with a review.

I have never loved a series like I love this one. Awesome job everyone! This is my 2nd listen through!

Amazing

New voice through me off but he’s kept the wackness of Jackson. Using tokens to buy the books left little bad spending it on a story of only 6 hours but after listening to it on a Sunday evening was worth it.

This was quite the adventure. I don't think I even spent 1 minute bored during the whole book. Be prepeared to experience the bizzare and get the opertunity to view Eternium from a diffrent perspektive. This is as much I feel I can say without spoilers.

I really liked this book, extremely funny and a creative interpretation of the storyworld.

A slow start but after a few minutes i started laughing and could not stop until i finished it.

A great experience

I’m not usually bothered by side quest books BUT this book stands up to the main story. Great characters, great narration from Luke Daniels (as always). Funny and entertaining. Worth my credit.

Great story

Great instalment in the series and my favourite so far. Jason is a unique (to say the least!) character and this short adventure brings him into focus. A lot of fun!

Cannot wait to see how the story evolves with Joe and his companions.

Laughed so much!

firstly, the change is narrator confused me, I'm not sure i like this guy yet but he is here to stay.

the story was fun, Jackson got time to shine and earn a fun upgrade. I like this more then I thought I would.

overall good and enjoyable.

There was really no reason to change the narrator for this book that said Luke Daniels is as ever excellent apart from when he attempts Gaelic accents which are just terrible like a parody of a parody of a Scottish accent. The story was a good Way to expand on a character and introduce a new one (and a new potential enemy in the assassins guild) and skipped on some of the stats reading which doesn’t really work in audiobook form… Which actually makes me wonder whether audible could allow a written stats sheet to be viewed that changes as the story progresses so that when I click on the book while listening I can view each characters’ current status. Something to think about.

This was the beginning of my original review which I did using voice recognition wall at work holding a Stanley knife. The part where I stabbed myself in the face while scratching my nose can be detected from voice recognition’s text translation of my pain 😂

In general I am ouch not a fan of changing narrator partway through a series. Saying that Luke Daniels really is excellent and if you had to change you couldn’t of picked anyone better although he should probably be banned from doing Gaelic accents…

Great story, new characters, reduced stats reading.

If there is ever a movie or TV series made from this world, they must get Mark Heap in “Dr Alan Statham from Green Wing” mode to play Jaxon. I usually object to readers being changed but in this case it has appeared to work brilliantly. Great story, brilliant performance - definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

Grinning the whole way through
