I enjoyed this audiobook and can soon see myself listening to it again. The end of each chapter has a recipe explained involving food mentioned in the chapter,really effective and a few times made me feel like having a try to cook one or two in the future.YUM

The heroin Dominika is easily liked and the plot and narration is very good. Well worth a credit and I will be hoping this author writes more.

the narration was good but storyline lost me a couple of times. Not one of the best books I have read. A little disappointing

Some minor problems must be forgiven when we remember that this is the authors first novel. The only real criticism I would level at it is this - why did the author feel the need to give the titular character a superhuman esque ‘power’ as he did? For me this is the only thing that really devalues the novel and means this story falls shorts of the excellence achieved by John Le carre in the genre. This is a shame, Jason Matthews came very close. Narration average but did not stand in the way of enjoyment. Still highly recommended despite the above.

Suspenseful, enthralling, much more complex and subtle than the movie (of course, much longer duration too), emotionally rewarding thanks to accurate and multi-sensory depictions: fully recommended :)!
P.S. And the cooking recipes (= just a few seconds at the end of each chapter) seemed so delicious that I'm willing to try some of them ;)!
