Unplugging with my kids
I am just as guilty as my kids when it comes to screen time. I decided I needed to find a way to change that and found this audiobook. The book is great; the recommendations to encourage putting down the devices really did help. The book is well written and super easy to follow, even while driving to work.

Finally,Self-Care That Fits My Life
As a full-time multitasker (work, kids, endless to-do lists), this book was exactly what I needed. The tips are quick, realistic, and don’t make me feel guilty for not doing more. I loved the humor it’s like the author gets how ridiculous modern life can be. My favorite advice? Turning chores into tiny moments of calm. It’s refreshing to see self-care framed as something doable, not a full-time commitment. If you’re overwhelmed but still want to feel human, grab this.

Laugh-Out-Loud Tips for Tackling Screen Time
This book is a refreshing blend of humour and sound advice, perfect for parents navigating the digital age. The anecdotes are so relatable they had me chuckling out loud, and the tips feel practical without being preachy. I especially enjoyed how the author embraces flexibility, acknowledging that every family’s situation is unique. My only quibble is that the suggestions for older children could’ve been a bit more detailed. Still, it’s a brilliant and entertaining read for parents looking to reclaim balance in their homes.
