About this listen
At 28, Lucy is doing well for herself. She's got a great job, her boss loves her, and her friends think she's great. The only problem is she does feel the need to lie outrageously on dates - often with hilarious results.
But when Lucy decides that her flatmate and oldest friend, Henry, is in need of a makeover, nothing can prepare them for the surprise results! Before long, Lucy realises that their lives will never be the same again.

I enjoyed the story & the narrator, so I would recommend it.
Although I don't think Jane Costello knows that Marilyn Manson is an actual man.

I do like the narrator and felt she portrayed the characters well.
I guessed the ending within the first 15 mins!

not my favourite of hers
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
As a 65 year old more cyclical/realistic person, it was too cliched and SO like the Bridget Jones stories, I would think there might be a justification for copying! Whacky friends, salt of the earth parents, childhood vengeances and constant clumsy catastrophes befalling someone who - just for the 2020s more feminist generation actually seems to manage a good job - is verging on unbelievable.
Ok if you are a 17 year old
