Great, well-rounded, characters brought to life by perfect narration. The main storyline could have been maudlin but is rescued by other characters. Going to miss these people now it's finished!

This was. an excellent storyline. A very moving story which kept my attention. I didn't want to put it down. Funny but tinged with sadness. Light but sensitivity written. I'd recommend this as a holiday read (or listen of course).
