I found myself laughing out loud. After meeting a face from the past John Lucky finds himself saying yes to an offer he can't refuse. He finds his next mission puts on board the most exclusive poker ship in the world, Lots of twists and turns that keeps him on his toes.

It takes place after the events of the first book and leading John into another case. There were parts of this book I thought a little obvious and some that weren't. I did enjoy the plot line overall and was intrigued to see how it all played out.
I think my biggest issue with these books is the dialogue. At some points they feel so corny and not natural. Maybe that's the point of "cozy" books such as these but at some points I just can't take it. More so with Davey than anyone else. But this doesn't hinder my overall enjoyment of the book and I'm able to continue.
I will be continuing this series and am excited to read the next adventure!
The audiobook was as good as the last one. I definitely enjoy these in audio format and will continue to listen to them.
