About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Jenny has just given birth to the baby she’s always wanted. She’s never been this happy.

Her husband, Leo, knows this baby girl can’t be his. He’s never felt so betrayed.

The same night, a vulnerable young woman, Hannah, wakes to find her newborn lifeless beside her. She’s crazed with grief.

When chance throws Hannah into Leo’s path, they make a plan that will have shattering consequences for all of them.

Years later, a 16-year-old girl reads an article in a newspaper and embarks on a journey to uncover the truth about herself. But what she learns will put everything she has ever known – and her own life – in grave danger. Because some people will go to desperate lengths to protect the secrets their lives are built on....

I finished this book n a few days….it was so addictive….i just had to keep listening to see what happened next. I did find the whole plot to be extremely far fetched and it was getting worse towards the end but it’s definitely worth a listen.

So far fetched but I couldn’t put it down!

I loved the premise of this book but it was really just dragged out way too long. I hung in until the end to see what happened but was really annoyed throughout at how it didn’t get resolved sooner!

Great idea but too drawn out

Took me two days to get through this book. It caught me from the very start and kept me guessing all the way to the end. Never a dull moment!
I hope I find another book like this one, will take something special to top this one 💜💜

T his started out with great promise. I found myself wanting to shout at the lead character for being so obtuse , she was supposed to be intelligent.

Silly woman .

its important to suspend belief to some extent when reading fiction but this was so far fetched it was farcical. I disliked the characters and only managed a couple of hours before I returned it.

awful
